Our Place is the partnership between Cheshire West and Chester Council and its Local Strategic Partners (such as police, fire service and the health service) with the sole aim of listening to the residents of Ellesmere Port to improve services and make a difference in our neighbourhood.
Residents have already identified a number of issues that need addressing and we will be tackling poor environmental maintenance, anti-social behaviour, employment, education and health, as well as supporting young people and children to achieve their aspirations.
We hope to ensure that the delivery of services to the public are efficient, fair and cost effective and that the people in most need of the services are the ones who are able to access them. Our Place will mean that there will be more partnership working between the different agencies and also more input from the community.
We are planning to have activities in the community to ask local people to get involved on local issues and make their community a better place to live.
