Boots and beat

Boots and Beats, delivered by young leaders from Greater Manchester Youth Network, is designed to support young people into employment, education and training through football and music.

22 year old singer/songwriter Tora Harlow, a recent graduate of Salford University, sings the chorus of the song and said: “We wanted to write something really catchy that everyone can sing along to, but also has an encouraging message behind it. We want to build other young people’s confidence”.

The chorus is also sung by 16 year old R&B/Jazz singer Roosevelt Sigsbert, who attended Loreto High School. He explains “The song is really inspirational.”

Boots and Beats Project Development Officer, Sara Auty commented:  “The project is still very much in its infancy and for us to have come this far already shows what an ambitious team we have and how the project can really have an impact and make a difference to young lives in Manchester.
