This young person shares their hopes and dreams and ideas of what would make life easier. Wants to 'get through uni'- has found their first year difficult. Main fear/ challenge is not being able to pay for basic necessities- need two part time jobs. Trying not to overwork but needing to work during university holidays. Hopes for a healthier lifestyle for a happier outcome.
This story was gathered by a youth advocate from the Equality Trust as part of a project called Reconstructing the Social Contract. 10 young people trained as community reporters and spoke to people aged between 16 and 25 in the United Kingdom to explore what impacts young people's life chances and their relationship with the state.
