I recently went to Loch Lomond, Scotland, on holiday and decided to go to Loch Lomond Shores for the day.  We didn't realise that Princess Anne was also visiting on that day.  I've never met a Royal before.  She was there because it was the Anniversary of Loch Lomond Shores and she had opened the original centre 10 years ago.

We waited for about an hour in the rain.  It was very busy and buzzing, with lots of local people and school children with Scottish flags, all getting very excited.
There was lots of school bands playing, horse rides, an eagle and a children's entertainer.  All the local people were very friendly and chatting to us whilst we were waiting.

Eventually, Princess Anne came and slowly walked around, talking to all the local people.  We took a photo of her, then left for a well-earned cuppa.
