Mind Waves a project from the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde was launched in Glasgow on the 21st September 2011 as part of the Global Social Media Week. The project hopes to recruit 10 volunteer community reporters who will promote positive messages about what contributes to good mental health.
The project was developed by Trevor Lakey the NHSGGC Health Improvement and Inequalities Manager for Mental Health Alcohol and Drugs in partnership with Outside the Box a social enterprise in Glasgow who provide training, advice and on-going assistance to people from communities in Scotland who want to
make changes. Isn't it great that other communities are starting to do this. I am really looking forward to working with them and linking then up with the other reporters across the UK.
