Uganda internet costs is the most expensive in the East African Region and Africa at large. This is according to a report titled "The State of Digital Rights and Internet Governance in Uganda" launched by Unwanted Witness. It also indicates that ever since OTT was introduced in 2018, the number of of internet users in Uganda has reduced from 13million to 10million people by 2020
