The Community Reporting Team inquires about the daily stresses faced by Yasmin, a part-time school crossing patrol warden. Yasmin's primary concern is job security with the City Council. She works eight hours a week during school term and receives Universal Credit due to her low income. However, the job centre is pressuring her to increase her working hours, which is challenging due to her mental health issues.

Hello. I'm Tracy from the community reporting Team. And my question to you is how is how are the everyday stresses and strains are you facing today? Hello. My name is Yasmin

Every the everyday stress I face is not knowing whether or not I'm still employed by the City Council. I work part time at school Crossing patrol Warden IE and on Flop AD. I work for eight hours a week in school term school term time

I receive some support from Universal Credit because I'm on a low income recently. The job centre says I have to work more hours because of a mental health problem. I cannot work full time

I take 300 milligrammes of clozapine per day since July 2000, and I have regular blood tests every four weeks. Uh, can I just ask then the medication you take affects your daily life? Yes. The medication I take makes me drowsy

And for me means I cannot drive as means. Sometimes I have to nap in the day. Um, the strain I'm facing is that I like being a lollipop lady because I've worked for them over two years, so I'll get a good work reference from them

So I should not be told to get more hours or different jobs which might not be suitable for me. The current job I have is local, part time physical, which is what I wanted. Um, so the travelling was, um Because you're the lollipop lady

You're quite close to where you live. You feel as though you can't travel. No, The current job I have is a 10 minute walk to the work

A 10 minute walk back every day. The job centre want me to get two buses into town or Soli and then two buses back again. And that's too much for me

Oh, are they asking you to get another job, then? Basically, hours, eight hours is not very much. Not very long. I'm expected to get at least at least 16 hours in order to be employed without having the job centre with me

So basically, the job centre is putting more pressure on you to get more. But you feel as though the role that you're in now suits you suits your lifestyle. Ok, then

Thank you very much for your time. And I hope it goes well for you in the future. Thank you
