having teeth out

Elderly people: How do you cope with having teeth out? Just recently had a tooth out. I found it extremely awkward but painless. I was amazed how easy it is to have a tooth out. I thought it would be painful and awkward. Needles don't scare me, I was surprised at how many needles I had to have to get it out! I'm not scared of the dentist, but the the needles in the dentists do scare me. Even though you do have to have them. But I was surprised again how painless it was. Within a matter of minutes the tooth was out, I must admit, there was a lot of blood, but that's finally stopped. My concern is now I have a very big hole where the tooth was. So obviously I will have to go back to the dentist because it's concerning me.
