Our branch played the part of the Easter Bunny around the 3 Towns over the Easter Weekend, delivering over 300 chocolate eggs to the elderly.

We dropped off the chocolate treats at Abbotsford, South Beach, Caledonia, Three Towns, Arran View Nursing home and the few extra Eggs not allocated for nursing homes were delivered to some very excited kids at Hayocks Community Centre.

Charity is a big part of our branch. We really wanted to do something to support our elderly community by spending some quality time with them and just putting a smile on their faces. AND smile they did, from ear to ear!!

All the Care Homes and the community centre thanked us for the generous donations, all of which would not have been possible without the generosity of our local stores, Morrison - Stevenston, Tesco - Saltcoats, Sainsbury's - Saltcoats, Asda - Ardrossan, Lidl - Stevenston, members of the legion and 3 towns.

Easter can sometimes get forgotten, especially in care homes, so we wanted to deliver chocolate eggs to these wonderful people so that they can enjoy this time of year too. Old age creeps up very fast on us all and we never know when we may need to use these care homes ourselves. Both the staff and residents thoroughly enjoyed our visit over the Easter Weekend. They all said it brightened up there day immensely as we were inundated with hugs, praises and thank you's.
