Here we are in London trying to see the Queen Diamond Jubilee  procession on the 5th June. We went in by tube to Euston at around 11.30 and walked to Trafalgar Sq thinking there we were in plenty of time. As we approached Trafalgar Sq the crowds got busier and so did the police. There was a great feeling in the crowd and the police were really friendly  but in the end there were to many police barriers. We tried walking towards Hyde Park and again there  were more barriers and announcements to say that everywhere was full. We passed Green Park Tube and thought is this really worthwhile. So we gave up  and figured it would be better to see it on the TV.  So we popped onto the Green Park tube  and headed back to the flat we are staying in. On went the TV and a perfect picture came up of the Queen on the palace balcony.   Glad we went and it was nice to soak up the atmosphere but sorry we never saw the Queen live.
