Today I was doing the dishes, I offered to turn down the radio and listen to Rue playing the electric organ.
He took out the lesson book, and followed the notes. They and the keys are marked by letters.
I know he’s holding his hands wrong, and not using the correct fingers.
I am quandary ing I know correcting him too much, will put him off, but I also know how hard it is to correct having learned the wrong way of doing something.
I think my plan might be once a week sitting down with him and trying to show him correct posture and hand placement. And invite him to play on his own as often as it crosses my mind.
Will investigate ways for us to afford a proper teacher, as Rue is so much better at taking instruction from others. Also I have no musical skills, and my musical training is happening along side Ruebens.
