Stop killing animals and cutting down trees, Miss Tourism Rwenzori says

The newly crowned Miss Tourism Rwenzori, Queen Doreen Masika says is eager to reinforce the campaign against anti-poaching to ensure tourism is thriving in the region.

Her remark comes after the region lost eleven lions that were killed at Kehendero in queen Elizabeth National Park by residents. 

Masika in an interview says that they are to work as a team to challenge Rwenzori community to embrace tourism for income generation.

Queen Masika adds that in her reigning period, she is to embark on public sensitization on coexistence and ensuring harmony so that tourists can start sleeping in Kasese town.

Queen Masika also pledged to promote hospitality among the people of Rwenzori.
