We left Salford on a murky gray November morning and climbed up through a  foggy pennines M62 to Yorkshire.Dropping down the mist cleared and a blue skies brightened our arrival at Harlow Carr situated in a picturesque W Yorkshire.

The gardens in all there autumn glory were a jog to behold the rich colour of the trees and vegetation  slowing down for there winter resting season.Nevertheless in the Alpine greenhouse the display of hardy shrubs covered the rock formation and we saw the possibility of creating our own Alpine feature for our greener lifestyle project.

The paths around the woodland and water features was a pleasure to see, A coach load of very happy older people enjoyed a lovely day of being inspired and an enthusiastic  sing a long what a great day.
