Rebecca is 35 and met her husband in 2000. They got married and had their first child the following year. She is now the proud mum of three children ages 16, 14 and 6. Her husband works in Liverpool as a machinist operator and does three twelve hour shifts a week.

She feels lucky that she has been able to stay at home and look after the children. It always has been very important for her husband to know the kids don't come home to an empty house.

Rebecca herself went to a catering college after she left school. Sometimes she thinks about what she would like to do once the children have finished their education. Maybe go to college or work but she struggles to see what skills she has.

For now, she is busy looking after the children and sitting with her mother-in-law once a week. Her mother-in-law suffers with Alzheimer’s and to take her out is quite stressful for both of them. Rebecca enjoys spending a couple of mornings at the local drop in where we met her.
