Hello I would like to tell you about a shop in Stanley which is my place of sanity. It's called The Be-Creative shop where broken or lost women come to be helped and mended to get back on their feet and find their way back in life though craft therapy. You see when all the rain came and on the news people's houses and businesses were getting flooded it is devastating but we were grateful that we were safe.

The last two weeks in our shop on the bottom floor water had started to come in. Now don't get me wrong, nothing compared to the news. It had caused damage to the stock that was there. The few bits of furniture and material we will probably get replaced, but the wool with no receipts and no proof of purchase, it's not looking good!!

So i'm writing this letter with an S.O.S help for wool so our ladies that knit to soothe their soul and calm their busy brains can still be knitters. We are on facebook if you would like to look us up and see what we do. I'm a wool hoarder (well that's what my daughter says) and i've gave some of my wool to the ladies to get them started. Our shop is a little shop but we think its just as important.

We would really appreciate any help/material donations that anyone has spare.

Many thanks in advance :)

The ladies and me
