My name Brenda Haw. Sure has been a while since I sent stories!! Life so hectic!! Anyhow, My frustration! 1st Aug, had a long day at work. The day was blazing hot. I had shopping so went to catch the 4.45pm Connexions bus.They are based at Green Hammerton. Just outside York! Waiting at stand 5 in Harrogate bus station for the bus. Saw on the screen 4.45pm. I glanced back to see my bus pulling out of stand 1!!I ran up to the entrance, the bus driver saw me. I could only have been dashing for that bus. I couldn't believe it as knew it would be a half an hour wait for the Transdev bus. I didn't want to hang about as knew I had a very early start the next day! I went to the kiosk info explained what had happened. The staff said yes, I saw him pulling out. He gave me the name of the driver. I said I will have to use a taxi home now. I am not impressed. The staff told me to get a receipt claim expenses from the company. I did exactly this, I contacted the Managing Director of Connexions buses. Very helpful Gentleman. Without obligation he said send my receipt, and he will reimburse. Apologised. The money will be with me next wk!! Watch this Space!! A frustrating start. {Positive, happy end!
