Yes Brenda Haw here again. Frustrated!! I'd say so. Northern Rail have failed again. Travelling back via train from York after a very long day at work. I went to catch the 16.11 train. It arrived at 16.00. Passengers were sat on waiting to go home. I arrived the doors were locked. Passengers standing outside in the freezing cold. Saw driver and conductor in driver cab. Doors were unlocked. Passengers got on. Driver conductor got off!! Train left at 16.16. We were held up at Hammerton. No announcements or sighting of the conductor!! She eventually came Jo the conductor after we left Hammerton. Not a word from her. Only eager to take your fare/ticket. Appalling customer care!! We got back to Harrogate. I missed my bus. Had 40 mins to wait in the freezing cold. Do Northern care. Course not!! The platforms were crowded with passengers waiting in the freezing cold for delayed trains. Northern have my complaint. Will be interesting to see if Northern get franchise next year!!
