All Gardeners please be aware when turning your compost heaps at this time of year there are many animals hibernating
In the heaps waiting for the warmer weather in the spring (arn't we all )
Please note the baby newt, I know its not a very clear picture
and the young slow worm. these were about half way down my compost heap.
So please look out for the good creatures.
