I am pleased to announce that today, I was accepted onto the BBC 2012 Community Reporter Scheme. A volunteer scheme to take LOCAL people and their LOCAL IDEAS for community stories based around 2012 and/or the Olympics. For 1 day a week, starting on Tuesday the 28th February, then culminating in a week long production session, a group of 15 volunteers will have the chance to produce a radio or television report for POTENTIAL broadcast on the BBC in the North West.
For me, an exciting chance to learn how the big boys do it and I can't wait.
