The Withen, Barnard Castle hosted an excellent performance by folk singer Bob Fox on Saturday night. Fresh from a 3 year tour as the Songman in Warhorse, the twice nominated Folk Singer of the Year, gave a varied performance of songs from Warhorse and additional material from his back catalog.
The performance was further enhanced by his grand daughter, Ellie Fox aged 12, a pupil of The Hermitage School Chester le Street. She not only clog danced and sang but gave an brilliant performance on the violin.
