Bill shares his experience of volunteering and why he does it. 

what's been your experience of volunteering? Well, I have done a lot of volunteering in my life, although at the moment it tends to be on the fringe of other projects. And I spent a lot of time, uh, volunteering, working on Children's play schemes and provision for young people. And, um, I very much enjoyed all that. And what specifically did you enjoy, or what value did you get from that? I think you know the value of, uh, volunteering is that, uh you have, um it stops you being too self centred, I think

And for me, it exposed me to other people's problems and issues which I otherwise wouldn't have. Um, so I think those are the main things, and you get a lot of enjoyment out of volunteering. Uh, although, you know there are there are difficulties
