This month finally saw the builders move in to refurbish LARNER ROADS unused waste ground known as the Dell a natural flood plain that was part of Eriths old apple orchards from Erith old past .
This is part of the ERITH PARKS REGENERATION Project run by Caroline Field of ORBIT and Lawrence Baxter of WATES. The dell should be ready by the summer2014 in which we hope will be taken over and run by the community Any ideas speak to me the DELLS wildlife officer Tracey Kember so I can pass it on to Teresa Hallett or Caroline Field.
A time capsule which will be placed in the dell and opened up in 50 years time, also the grand feature will be beautiful benches sculptured by Will Jorden and a beautiful centrepiece also by the sculptor will be placed in the dell.
