Within the last two month I developed a lump in my navel. I went to my Doctor who diagnosed it as an Umbelica Hernia.
I went to see a specialist at the Bupa Hospital in Manchester and I am awaiting a letter for my operation at Salford Royal Hospital.
I have a shunt fitted and the specialist advised me that the anethatist at Salford Royal would be more suitable for my needs. There would be no time limit for my recovery on the NHS and I would not be discharged until I had recovered sufficiently from the operation.
