I have recently started going to Salford Disability Forum. The new project involves me keeping regular contact with all members notifying them of any changes and updates that happen regarding the Forum.
The office at St George's now only has two members of staff employed on a full-time basis. The other people involved are all volunteers.
The Management Board set out a plan to contact each individual member to see firstly if they still want to be involved and secondly to see if there are any issues that they wish to raise.
Myself and my colleague Paul have composed an e-mail which we will send to each member explaining what will be happening and providing our names as a first point of contact for any queries they may have.
