I love films, I have all my life. The first film I saw at the pictures was Jungle Book in the early 70’ s. I was about five . It was the Odeon ,Manchester where I also went on my first date to see the Fly when I was 17 . I have a vivid memory of seeing Star Wars at the Odeon and being amazed by the opening seen when a spaceship flies right into shot from above . I used to love horror films as a kid and had a bit of a Bela Lugosi (Dracula) stage when I was a teenager . I made my bedroom all Gothic with black paint. My favourite films are Spinal Tap, Jaws, Braveheart and Carlito's Way . My favourite actor is probably Clint East wood as I love Spaghetti Westerns and also Al Pacino who barely makes a wrong move when choosing roles unlike his contemporary Robert De Niro, who seems to only appear in unfunny comedys as an old man these days , sad really . This interest has led me to study cinema at University and to be involved in some small budget film making I was sound man on Salford Horror film The Phantom Stalker, shot entirely on location in Salford at about one in the morning. We had bouncers to protect our equipment from robbery. Now let us hear your stories.
