When asked, “Do you agree that there should be a 12-month
extension to the Right to Control Trailblazers?”
Matthew replied, “I think so, yes, because to me it seems that
we have only seen the tip of the iceberg in terms of the potential of
Right to Control. Although it has taken some time to bed-in locally,
it has started to have a positive impact for people.”
“Why?”
“Choice and control are crucial for disabled people. Right to
Control holds both at its core and is a means of people taking charge
of their lives in a new and exciting way. An extension would allow us
all to begin to see a widespread impact from this pilot.”
