After a tough year of cleaning the larner road dell after people was using it as a dumping ground for the past 30 Years. Erith park fnally opened the doors to the newley redevelped dell the first of the projects completed in Phase one.
The doors was open to Erith Parks core Group that was guests of honor at Caroline Fields Tea party on Tuesday 15th April 2014 the dell was full of orbit staff and the core group that explored the dell and then a photo shoot began everyone was taken back by the huge sculpture at the bottom of the dell which is to be named at the community event on the 21st june 2014 in which the core group will unveil the sculpture and its name also the benches on top of the dell was a fascinating point both the scupture and the carved seating was created by kent sculpture Will Jorden.
Caroline field adddressed those present and thanked a number of people including graham of wates gemma McGill and that of myself whom took over the dell as Wildlife Warden and got McDonalds Erith involved as part of the community clean up Wendy Guest name was mentioned as well as her successor Tracey Aherne
