The other day I found myself needing to get across Salford,on my bike I Googled the directions they made mention of National Cycle Route 6. I discovered a scenic river side pathway and old painted bridges to cross. It was so enjoyable that I later researched it, National Cycle Route 6 runs from London to Threlkeld and is over 300 miles long. I doubt its all as delightful as the bit though Salford but I can hope.
