On Sunday 18/1/15 I attended a different church for a joint service of "Confirmation". Peel Church has a long pathway to the entrance and it was very icy. A kind gentleman who attends the church saw me struggling to walk  with my walking frame up the pathway they had cleared up to the entrance. He came down the path and held on to my arm as an extra bit of support. I made very slow progress but I got there safe in  the end. After the service had ended the man escorted me back to the car and made sure I was okay. When I arrived home I did not need to go out again till Monday morning. I have some rock salt in the house so I can spread it on the step outside the front door this will stop me from slipping.
