I've just come back from visiting Tallinn in Estonia. Estonia is the first country in the world that has declared access to the internet as a human right. This has resulted in Tallinn, their capital, having free wifi thrughout the entire city.

As I was walking round, having a coffee, checking my twitter, all I kept thinking was, wouldn't this be a great thing for Salford?! To be able to walk the entirety of Salford and get free access to the internet. It would really make an impact to people on the street and have a big influence on the perception of Salford as a forward thinking, community driven place.
