Daniel Rylands, a pupil from The Albion High School in Salford, spent a week on work experience at People's Voice Media, based at The Innovation Forum on Frederick Road.
Daniel worked closely with Kevin Eccleston, Future Jobs Fund Content Manager.
"I thought Daniel was very enthusiastic and he was a willing learner! I think he has a future in radio" said Kevin.
Daniel produced this short radio piece asking if Salford has become a throwaway society. In the piece Daniel talks to a shopkeeper at a retro games shop in Afflecks Palace, in central Manchester, along with the manager of the Working Class Movement Library in Salford and the owner of an Ebay shop in Broughton.
Daniel also went "behind the scenes" at Salford City Radio, the community radio station based in Swinton.
"He took great care styling his work, which was refreshing to see" said Julie Spellman, Community Reporter Trainer.
