From being a young age my favourite football team has been Manchester United.
I am always interested in their results when they play win or lose.
In the late 1960s early 1970s I could quote each players name of the team from memory.
These days this has become nearly impossible due to the size of the squad.
I have been to Old Trafford on a number of occasions to see them play.
The first match I went to was an F.A.. Cup Tie against Barnsley.
I was so excited when I found out a couple of days before.
We arrived at the ground in plenty of time. If I could not have managed the stairs to my seat the stewards would have carried me.
I now watch as many matches as I can on Sky and B.T. Sport at home.
I get very involved whilst watching each game.
I have three shirts but my prized possesion is the grey shirt with Cantona number seven.
If I am going out when United are playing I always make sure I record them so I can watch them at a later date.
