Studied Journalism at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston.
Completed three work placements during this time, at Archant Life, Express Magazines and Future Magazine's Total Film.
Hosted a radio show at the university's station, Frequency 1350, and worked on the student newspaper, Pluto, as a news writer, entertainments writer and sub-editor.
Participated in a 6 month project, under the collective banner of CAve Media, as part of the Future Jobs funding program for Contour Housing, based in Preston. The job was as a community reporter, working in conjunction with People's Voice Media and the University of Central Lancashire's Bespoke project.
Completed some freelance work for the Bespoke project following the end of the CAve Media project. Now doing research to launch a community site for my home town, Darwen in Lancashire.
