Last week I went to the Silverstone Classic race weekend, and had a brilliant time! Me and my family go every year as my uncle looks after certain cars and has done since I can remember, so I'm very lucky to have the 'backstage pass' to events like this. But this year has to be one of my favourite race events so far! There was lots to see and do and we managed to cram in tons of activities in the five days we were there. I was lucky enough to have a passenger driving experience in a Morgan which was driven by a professional racing driver, we also had lots of fun on the funfair, I had the chance to drive a quad, we also had a few BBQs in the sunshine!
I did lots of celeb spotting too, there happened to be a celebrity race on Saturday and I got to see the actor Sir Patrick Stewart, Brian Johnson from the band ACDC, Chef Heston Blumenthal, actors from Corrie and EastEnders and also got to meet Kelvin Fletcher from Emmerdale.
And of course I got to see thousands of different types of classic racing cars, So...same time next year? :)
