Harmony offers ‘Gold’ to Cheshire Olympian

 

Local choir ‘Port Harmony’ sang their hearts out in support of Shanaze Reade’s Olympic bid.   At Little Sutton Community Centre the choir was professionally filmed singing ‘Gold’ from Spandau Ballet’s 80s hit.

Sponsored by Cadbury’s Keep singing, Keep Team GB Pumped, the .choir was professionally recorded, to be shown nationally in the run up to the 2012 Games.

BMX ace Shanaze, 23, said “I was thrilled when I heard about the Ellesmere Port people supporting me”

Port Harmony has some 25 members. It has been going for only 15 months and the rehearse in Flatt Lane community Centre each Wednesday  under their Musical Director Paula Prytherch.  CWaC’s  Area Programme Board gives full sponsorship.
