The Duchy Residents Group (DRG) are going from strenth to strenth with us securing funding to install a gym at the Salvation Army Hostal and sponcering the local under 10's football team Barr Hill but we have hit a wall. The local Surestart Centre based on Summerville Road have lost there funding, this is where we hold our monthly meetings.This is a massive blow to the community as it caters for mums with young babies doing baby massage and messy play and a host of other things being held there. We are looking into other venues in the area but at the moment this is proving difficult. we will report on our fight for a new venue when we have secured one.
