Many people look at a person with tattoos and see a thug or 'miscreant' but have you ever thought about tattoos or 'ink' as being an art form? a way for people to express who they are and what they're about.

Maybe you have, maybe you haven't.

Most of the time tattoos are seen as rebellious or morally wrong because people watch the news and see a robber on the six o'clock with a crappy neck tat and then assume that every person with tattoos are muggers or murderers. Wrong!

Tattoos can represent so much more, like the life of a baby or the death of an older relative, the hardships and accomplishments that they have had in their lives or even just what they like in life as a whole.

I, myself have got several tattoos. They show my love for horror, quotes that I live by and my love for downright weirdness. Some people may not like the look of big Frankenstein's monster on my forearm but they are ALL part of me, of who I am and what I represent.

It's reassuring to know that tattoos are becoming more accepted in society than they used to be and hopefully it will continue to stay like that.
