~~On Saturday 25th April 2015 our choir Salford Community Choir took part in a concert with Ellenbrook Brass Band at the Methodist Church in Monton, To celebrate St George’s Day.
The programme was set round the theme of England and the choir performed items commencing with the first movement of “Vivaldi’s Gloria” Two of the items were unaccompanied the first of which was “Bring me little water Sylvie” . The second unaccompanied item was “All My Trials Lord”.
The last item on our programme was Green Green the Grass is Green on the far side of the Hill.
The final few items of the evening included a joint performance between the band and the choir of Rule Britannia, Land of Hope and Glory, There will always be an England and the National Anthem to bring the evening to a close.
