Remember the Kersal Festival?
The early 90s for me was a time of change, growing from an old primary school kid to a young secondary school kid. I don’t remember much of this time but I do remember the Kersal Festival.
For me the Kersal Festival was a once a year extravaganza for the people of Kersal and Salford to come together and have a great day out.
Remember the big floats? All lined up in the morning air, all with people running around them like worker bees making last minute improvements to the outside of dirty work trucks.
From trucks to colourful floats of all sizes, with people ready to flank all sides with banners and charity collections.
Remember those wonderful days in the community?
