My name is Lyndon Huetson I am a 53 year old disabled volunteer with Salford Disability Forum for approximately 2 years. I moved to the Manchester area to be nearer to my sister and her family. Before moving to the area I worked for the DWP for 26 years. An exit package became available and I took advantage of it. Whilst volunteering at Salford Disability Forum I met Matt Bell the volunteer co-ordinator of Inspiring Communities Together he came to the forum to raise the profile of a choir we had formed. After discussion with Matt I have started volunteering here! My role is to upload stories from Essence onto the Community Reporter Website and to create and publish my own stories as well .
