I would like to share a life – experience story of Mr Elbani Abdoo Gaye, a service user of the Work Club. The story is about Mr. Elbani Abdoo Gaye' journey and struggle to find a job and how through Job centre in Salford, he found a Work - Club called Visible Outcome.

I welcomed Mr. Gaye at our Work Club and  I begin by asking him why he could not get assistance or support at his Local Job Centre. He told me that, Job centre allocate a short and limited time for customers and most of the time, people feel like, they can not ask and get vital information on the issues partnering to vancies and job searches. When Mr. Gaye came to the Visible Outcome, he had a couple of issues, such as: Lack of information on local jobs, how to improve his skills through educational training and apprenticeship opportunities.

According to Mr. Elbani, Job center is not helping Minority communities to access mainstream services, such as  Training and job opportunities. He felt that, part of the problem may be that, people have little knowledge on where to go or how to look for the information. After the assessment , I advised Mr. Elbani that, Visible Outcome will help him to improve his skills and we sign posted him to a Training Center called: Learn Direct for a Security Course Training. I told him that, This course will enhance his prospect of getting a paid Job in the security sectors. The Level 2 Award in Security Guarding qualification enables our clients to apply for a Security Industry Authority (SIA) Security Guarding license.  Mr. Elbani started his course and he is  in touch with Visible Outcome.  We told him that, he can always come for support if needed.

The course provides our clients with an excellent understanding of security issues to meet the increasing demand for well-trained operatives in the UK security industry. Visible Outcome advised him also to join an Innovative Charity organization called: First Step Trust(FST). it runs social enterprises to provide work and training opportunities for people excluded from work because of mental health issues or other disadvantages, including drug and alcohol recovery problems and a history of offending.

Visible Outcome works is not limited to Job search only, it helps clients to get better accommodation( house search). The visible outcome use the client centred methodology, to assess their needs, which in return help our team – members to formulate a plan of action on the way forwards for our service Users . We always listen to our clients needs, rather than telling them what to do. During our conversation, Mr. Elbani told me that, Visible Outcome has helped him to find and pursue new opportunities in his life. He stated that, the supportive and welcoming approach has increased his confidence and enabled him to articulate better his needs to the Local Social services Authorities.
