A new gym is to be installed at the local Salvation Army Hostel Abbott Lodge, which will be free for the Duchy residents.
At the'Your Salix Your Say' presentation the DRG were successful in securing money to put towards the new community gym. The gym will be supported by the Salford Health Team who will be on hand to offer advice on fitness and healthy eating. DRG member Debbie who already attends the programme at Abbott Lodge says " I have been coming here for about 5 weeks now and their is a wonderful relaxed and freindly atmosphere and I am looking forward to the installation of the new gym"
