Get involved at Lower Kersal
Volunteering has always played a big part of helping Lower Kersal Community Centre work. We decided to find out more about our volunteers and what their hopes were for the future...
Amy has been volunteering in Yoghurt Pots for just over a year she enjoys playing with the children and she says that she has become more confident, Amy has just completed a NVQ level 1 in volunteering well done Amy.
Laura came to volunteer with the Lower Kersal centre last August, she said "I just needed to get out of the house, by volunteering I have become more confident and I feel like one of the team." Laura has also completed an NVQ level 1 in volunteering.
Nicola used to bring her daughter to Yoghurt Pots childcare, she asked if she could do some volunteering now the children are in school. Nicola now volunteers in Yoghurt Pots, she started work on the NVQ level 1 in volunteering on the 4th March.
