A cool stsrt to the day, bit over cast here in Manchester but hey we were heading to London via train so no fear of getting wet or cold as the forcast was good. We arrived in Euston just before 12noon had some lunch a brief sight seeing and a trip on the underground tube... as we headed to Westminster.  Packed with sight seeing visitors and many people dressed in their best clothes and national dress all entering the Abbey for a special service to kick start the commemoration of  the Queens Diamond Jubilee with 54 country's and there representatives all taking part.  Peoples Voice Media were well and truely on hand to capture the day.

For me personally it was the very first time I had ever been in the Abbey as the last time I was there was for the sad funeral of Diana the Queen of hearts xx  Unfortunately we were not allowed to photograph or film whilst HRH the queen or royals were in the abbey which for me was rather dissapointing as we had all hoped to get a photo of them . Nevermind I am going to share with you the photos that I did manage to get and hope they show just what a colourful event it was.
